Teen Age Republicans [ TARS ] is a nationwide organization that helps teens become poltically aware and gain leadership skills. The organization is youth led, and is dedicated to educating teens of the principles of the free market, constitutional government, and patriotism.

Cranston East Teen Age Republicans is a new club that is spreading poltical awareness. We want to keep teens informed on politics, especially since most will be voting in the next elections. Other goals of TARS are to hold fundraisers for the troops and help campaign for worthy candidates who will defend our Constitution .

Events/Fundraisers:
Project Wounded Soldiers - Project Wounded Soldiers is a fundraiser held by TARS to raise oney for phone cards for wounded soldiers. We had a very successful drive this year and have already raised enough for 15 phone cards for our troops who were injured in the line of duty.

Teen Age Republicans Benefit Dinner- On Saturday, May 15, Cranston East TARS will be hosting a dinner at Chelo's Banquet Hall in East Providence. This will be a wonderful event filled with energized Republicans and of course plenty of fun. Tickets to the dinner will be for sale shortly.



Teen Age Republicans Leadership Conference: (TLC)

National TARS hosts a leadship conference annually in Washington D.C. TLC 2010 will be July 14-24. All members are able to attend. It is an incredible experience that will last a lifetime, where you will meet wonderful speakers and energized Republicans ready to make a difference, as well as new friends from across the country.
